Setting Up and Using Communication Lists
In this course, you’ll learn how to create and manage Communication Lists in WeGive to allow supporters to opt in to specific types of marketing emails.
We’ll cover:
- Creating a new communication list with a public-facing name and description
- Choosing visibility: show to all supporters or only those with a specific tag
- Enabling opt-in preferences including double opt-in and reCAPTCHA
- Connecting communication lists to supporter tags
- Viewing subscriber status (subscribed, unsubscribed, unspecified)
- Using communication lists to define your message audience (marketing emails only)
- Adding unsubscribe links via the Communication List variable in your message body
By the end, you’ll know how to manage subscription-based email audiences and ensure supporters receive only the content they’ve opted into.
